Entry Level Accountant

**** Great Opportunity for a bright recent college graduate in Accounting ****

Main responsibilities to include: Accounts Payable coding and entry; Account reconciliations; issuing checks and tracking cash flow; monthly bank reconciliations; assistance in preparation of grant requests and grant reporting; assist in annual audit and periodic monitorings.
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Benefits: salary for this position will not exceed mid 20’s; full time position; excellent benefits after 90 days.

Grant Writer

Professional needed for proposals writing and completing grant applications (electronically and paper copy); performing professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities in the areas of Education, Housing, Human Services, Asset Development, etc.
Responsibilities: Research and identify new government and private funding prospects;
generate proposals and supporting documents in response to solicitations; Generate revenues for agency programs and services through timely submission of  well-researched, well-written and well-documented proposals. Successful candidate will work with R&D Data Coordinator to access and utilize client data; maintain and implement planning calendar activities; and identify funding opportunities and new program areas to match agency priorities. Will also participate in projects as needed.
Qualifications: Excellent writing and computer skills: Microsoft Office, with database management skills a plus. Highly organized with the ability to work effectively under pressure, use independent judgment and produce a quality work product within tight time constraints; attention to detail. Able to work as a member of a team. Able to secure new funding opportunities; comprehensive knowledge of research, and the ability to identify funding opportunities for special programs. Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences or related field; writing experience required.
